Poor Pay Rich is definitely one of the past years shooting stars with continuously strong releases on many of the best Minimal/Deeptech labels. With a bass-heavy touch, he created his own signature sound and lands here on our label with release No. 23 called „That Was The Night EP“. Frankfurt- based Daniele Casa, owner of the splendid label eMBi Music, contributes a brilliant remix.

 

„That Was The Night“ is a perfect peaktime minimaltechno groover. A rollin bassline spends power for big rooms and directs deeply flowing frequencies straight into the body. Daniele Casa takes it over for the remix and induces a classy vibe with a groovin’ subby ground. After the break, sweat will pour down.

 

With a decent deep drive, „Thinkpad“ has the potential to storm floors and blow them away. A suspense-packed synth-riff boosts it to the top. Third original track „Slang“ wobbles on low basses too and is riddled with diverse effect sounds such as verbed vocals and bleeps. Let’s rumble!
